Vite Colte Barbara D’Asti La Luna e I Falo

A wonderful Barbera from the vineyards of Asti.   This cuvee is a blend from vineyards with slightly  different soil types and micro-climates giving it excellent structure and bouquet complexity.  Deep ruby red color with notes of violet, licorice, and vanilla. Dry, nicely balanced with long finish.

Traditional vinification with 10 day maceration on the skins.  Aged 12 months in small oak barrels, 1/3 of which are new.
