Vite Colte

Vite Colte represents 180 wine growers with 300 ha of vineyards in Piemonte, some of the finest in the individual zones. Each of the growers dedicates a portion of their estate to Vite Colte, with constant communication to the technical group and head wine maker at Vite Colte. The cantina, built in 2000, sits right in the heart of Barolo, just below the most prestigious cru vineyards in Barolo.  Vite Colte strives for consistent vintage quality, adhering to the following vineyard selection criteria.

• Vineyards that are at least 15 years old
• Low yields per vine
• Pruning based on the number of buds
• Correct plant nutrition
• Manual vegetation management
• Harvesting entirely by hand
• Maximum attention to the choice of harvesting date
• Integrated and/or organic viticulture

The wines produced by Vite Colte are some of the best you will find in Piemonte.
